Truck licence cost in Palmerston North: providers compared

What the headline price may leave out
One Stop's Class 2, 4 and 5 prices include logbook training. Check whether that is true of any other quote you receive, and whether the price assumes you have already finished earlier steps. NZTA fees, a medical certificate and any retest may also be separate.
Truck hire deserves the closest look. A course that looks cheaper can end up costing more once hire is added, and your own truck may need office review or have conditions attached. Ask how much practice time in the truck the price covers.

Automatic or manual, and where you train
TR says its Class 2 truck is automatic and AllTrain refers to an automatic truck for Class 4. One Stop's Class 2 Isuzu is a manual. If your next employer runs manual trucks, or you simply want the practice, ask each provider what you will actually drive.
TTLS is at 291 Tremaine Avenue, TR at 522 Rangitikei Line and AllTrain at 740 Rangitikei Line, with another AllTrain site in Levin. Central Group lists Avalon and Palmerston North, plus on-site courses for two or more people. One Stop confirms the location with your session, which can suit people travelling from Kāpiti or Horowhenua.

AllTrain, Central Group and TR offer online booking paths, while TTLS uses a request form. Course dates are the practical deciding factor for many people, so look at the next available date for your class before comparing small price differences.
Employers training several staff should ask for an on-site or group price rather than multiplying the public rate. One Stop handles organisation requests through a separate enquiry, with invoices available for businesses and councils.
