About this training
If you carry fuel, chemicals or other hazardous goods by road, you may need a D endorsement. This one-day course prepares you for the assessment, for first-time drivers and renewals.

Drivers who carry dangerous or hazardous goods by road may need one. Some small loads are exempt, so check with your employer if you’re unsure.
Book the initial assessment for your first D endorsement, or the refresher if you hold a current certificate.
Book the refresher before your endorsement expires, then apply at AA or VTNZ. NZTA sends a reminder about six weeks before expiry.
