We can help people looking to gain their Car (Class 1), or Heavy Traffic (Class 2, Class 4, Class 5) Driver Licences. We also provide licence endorsements for wheels, tracks, rollers, forklifts and dangerous goods.

Steve Wilkinson has more than 20 years experience in the transport industry, and a passion for seeing well-trained drivers further their career goals.
One Stop Driver Training is based in Manawatū and Horowhenua, but we’re able to available to travel to your worksite around NZ.

Learn to drive
One-on-one training to help you to build confidence in a safe environment.
$80 per hour for a car lesson (you provide the car).
$125 per hour for a truck lesson (you provide the vehicle).
$125 per hour for a truck and trailer lesson (you provide the vehicle).
Street Talk Defensive Driving Course
One Stop Driver provides Street Talk defensive driving courses. Street Talk defensive driving courses have been specially designed by the NZ Transport Agency to meet the needs of young drivers in New Zealand. These courses teach defensive driving skills that will help both Learner and Restricted drivers pass the new driving tests.
$230 (including GST)
Class 2 Licence Course
Achieve your licence for any rigid vehicle with a gross laden weight of 6001kg, up to 18000kg; or a combination vehicle (that is not a tractor/trailer combination) with a gross combined weight of 12000kg or less.
Before you can attend the course you must have your Class 2 Learner Licence. To get your 2L please contact Waka Kotahi/NZTA for more information.
Class 4 Licence Course
Achieve your licence for a rigid vehicle (including a tractor) with a gross laden weight of over 18000kg (including any Class 1 & 2 vehicle, but not Class 3).
Before you can attend the course, you must have your Class 4 Learner License. To get your 4L please contact Waka Kotahi/NZTA for more information.
Class 5 Licence Course
Achieve your licence for a combination vehicle with a gross combined weight of over 25000kg. Including any Class 1 – 4 vehicle.
Before you can attend the course, you must have your Class 5 Learner License. To get your 5L please contact Waka Kotahi/NZTA for more information.
Onsite Forklift Course
We can come to your worksite to run a course for Forklift Operators.
Full course – Certificate of Competency (approved by WorkSafe)
Refresher course – Certificate of Competency (approved by WorkSafe)
And/or F endorsement on your Driver Licence
(A Certificate of Competency allows you to operate in the workplace, the F endorsement allows you to operate on the road).
Minimum of four people per course.
Wheels, Tracks, & Rollers
Provide licence endorsements for wheels, tracks, or rollers; either separately or all three together.
To run a course onsite there must be a minimum of four participants. All participants require a Class 1 Full Driver Licence. For smaller course numbers please enquire as to availability and cost.

Dangerous Goods
This course covers the knowledge and skills required to transport Dangerous Goods safely and legally by road.
Prerequisites: You must hold any current NZ Driver Licence in order to do the course. All trainees must be able to read, write and understand English for this course.
